Our story
We don't sell tours.
We change how you experience China.
Behind every journey is a team of people who genuinely love this city — and believe everyone deserves to feel at home in it.
The person behind the journey
A letter from
our founder
Sarah Chen
Founder & Medical Travel Coordinator
I moved to Chengdu in 2016, not quite knowing how long I'd stay. Eight years later, I'm still here — and I've stopped asking why. This city has a way of holding you.
The idea for QIVOYAGE came from a personal experience. When my mother needed specialist treatment that wasn't available back home, I brought her to West China Hospital. The care she received was extraordinary. But navigating a foreign healthcare system alone — the language, the paperwork, the uncertainty — was one of the hardest things we'd done as a family.
"No one should have to face a hospital in a foreign country alone. That's why I built QIVOYAGE — not as a travel company, but as a bridge."
Today, our small team helps visitors from over 28 countries navigate everything from Traditional Chinese Medicine clinics to major hospital consultations — and discover the remarkable city around them while they're here. Every service we offer is something I wish had existed when my mother needed care.
The people you'll meet
A small team.
Deeply committed.
You'll speak to real people — not a booking platform. Our team is small by design: everyone here knows Chengdu intimately and has helped dozens of international visitors navigate medical appointments, cultural experiences, and everything in between.

What we stand for
Four things we will
never compromise on.
24-hour human response
Every message you send reaches a real person on our team — not a chatbot, not an automated reply. We respond within 24 hours, seven days a week, regardless of your time zone. Medical questions never wait until Monday.
Zero sales pressure
Our consultation is completely free — no obligation, no hard sell. We'll give you honest, detailed advice whether you book with us or not. If Chengdu isn't right for your situation, we'll tell you that too. Your trust matters more than any booking.
A team member, always present
From airport pickup to post-consultation debrief, someone from our team is with you. We don't hand you a map and wish you luck. During medical appointments, your interpreter stays by your side for every question, every diagnosis, every moment of uncertainty.
Your privacy, protected
Medical information shared with us stays with us. We do not share, sell, or reference your health details with any third party — including hotels, travel partners, or referring contacts. Your records are held in strict confidence, always.
